Dean Road, Bolton

Dean Road, Bolton This is a vacant brownfield site located within the boundaries of the Bolton Enterprise Centre. The design of the scheme primarily aims to regenerate the site in a way which is sympathetic to the surrounding area and the form of the site.

The building is four storeys high to accommodate the number of restaurants, Conference, Banqueting Halls, administration offices and ancillary accommodations. The proposed scheme is located in the vicinity of buildings of varying heights.

The client brief to our architects and interior designers is to produce a high quality building with glass inviting frontage. The front facade of the building is mostly glazed with a large glazed feature core entrance accommodating the central staircase and roof cafe. This enhances the transparency of the building and produces an inviting elevation to the visitors and when viewed from the rear of the adjacent houses. It also creates greater legibility of the main entrance of the building and provides an exciting focal point when viewed from Deane Road.
